Samantha Kelly

Samantha Kelly began dancing at age 5 at the Arizona Ballet School, at the time under the direction of Kee Juan Han. She then spent the majority of her school age years training at Scottsdale School of Ballet under Donald Dadey and Sibylle Acatos-Dadey with Nadiya Kuvton, finishing up her high school training at Ballet Etudes. She has also spent time training at State Street Ballet, Orlando Ballet School, the Sarasota Cuban Ballet School, and the Cuban National Ballet School.

Over recent years, she has performed multiple times with Ballet Arizona, including the company’s Balanchine rep. After graduating from high school, Samantha became a company member at the San Diego Ballet. Since returning to Arizona, she has been performing locally with various groups, schools, film producers, and companies including the summer contemporary ballet Convergence.

For the last several years, in addition to continuing her ballet training and performing, Samantha has been teaching throughout the Valley. Her styles include ballet technique and pointe, stretch and conditioning, as well as contemporary, jazz, and choreography, always with an emphasis on technique. She has been a faculty member at Kelly’s Dance Academy (Fountain Hills), Ballet Etudes (Gilbert), Dancers Domain (Scottsdale), and a regular sub at numerous other schools, and now, Scottsdale School of Ballet. Samantha has also begun the Z-Health Performance program, a neurology based approach to overall training athletes.
