Our 2009-2010 Season was a very successful season for us - our audience numbers increased, our performances expanded as did our regional touring... Without the support of our sponsors and grants, this would not have been possible and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

CLASSES
AZDance Group's "Movement E-Motion" provides DANCE CLASSES for individuals with disabilities.
"A dance program for individuals with different abilities, meets on Wednesday's at Bender's Performing Arts studio on 32nd Street and Beardsley. This program is available to young adults, audition/invitation only, with Down Syndrome and/or Autism and those with physical challenges" says Newbury.
Each participant gains incredible dance training and strengthening and strengthening exercises as well as an increase in self-esteem, socialization and mobility. The MEM participant also has the opportunity to take advantage of performing on some of the valley's finest stages with the professional dance company of AZDance Group and the company's other educational programs.

CONCERT DESCRIPTION
AZDance's new Christmas concert, " A Joyful Christmas " - at the MIM and the CPA - celebrates the Spirit of Christmas by utilizing guest artist Astrit Zejnati, Principal Dancer of Ballet Arizona, the company's professional dance roster and their heartwarming Education Outreach Program, "movement E-Motion", a dance program designed to give dance technique and performing opportunities for young adults with Down Syndrome and/or Autism and physical challenges. The concerts highlight the music of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, Christmas carols and other moving arrangements. Both concerts benefit the company's growing production costs and their five outreach programs. Book your tickets soon!
